Ammo Day

Ammo Day is now only 34 days away. Will you be participating?

Kevin Baker has a great twist for this years event - courtesy of the folks at AR15.com (a site I should visit more often) that I wholeheartedly endorse.

1. On November 19, 2005 head to your nearest local Wal Mart.

2. Pick up a copy of the Red Dawn DVD then make your way over to the sporting goods counter.

3. Purchase as many boxes of Winchester White box as you can afford or are possible plus twice as many rounds of .22lr that you think you need (my own added twist - you can never have enough .22lr)

4. Pay for it as close to 3:30pm CENTRAL TIME as possible (begin ringing it up at like 3:27pm or so in order for the check out to come in at 3:30pm). This means, if you are on the east coast like I am, make the purchase at 4:30 pm. If your in the Western Mountains, make it at 2:30 pm. If your in Alaska, your on your own to figure out what time it is.
