The former Volunteer star (we went to UT at the same time) is apparantly runnign for Congress as a Democrat. I wonder how the overwhelmingly Democratic D.C. area will react if he wins?

Probably not well. For one thing, he seems to get it on the 2nd Amendment.

I strongly support the 2nd Amendment of the Constitution of the United States of America which clearly states that “the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.”

I will always support the rights of law-abiding citizens to own firearms, to hunt, and to protect their life and property.

Of course, he lived in DC after school for a bit and they might hold that against him too.
