Playing With Toys

I would be terribly remiss if I didn't post at least some gun porn after spending a week in as gun friendly a place as Lafayette, Georgia. Well, I don't want that to happen, and even though circumstances again prevented me from shooting a few rounds off with Les Jones I will be back again for a week at the 4th of July Holiday and the wife promises me more free time on that trip.

In any case, here are the two toys I played with the most at the local shooting hole. Apparently, the link in my blog roll to the Shinbone Ridge web page is down. Not sure why.



Here I am (this is an anonymous blog - hence the funny face) touching off the SS ORM Colt 1991A1. This pics pretty cool, cause as I have circled, you can see two spent cases flying (I ended up getting dinged in the face with a shell this day, remember to wear glasses when shooting)



And, of course, here I am (anonymized again) with that sexy M1 Garand.
