A Blooming Idiot

As we all known, life long Democrat (but recent Republican out of political expediency) Michael Bloomberg - the bazillionaire gun banning socialist bigot who also is mayor of New York City wants to take away your guns. Not just the guns of those in New York, but those all across the country.

Mayor Bloomberg's national call to stop the flow of illegal guns isn't playing too well down in Dixie, where many of the firearms used to commit crimes in the city originate.

NYPD officials say that 70% of guns used to commit crimes in the city in the first half of 2005 came from six states - Florida, Georgia, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Pennsylvania, all of which have looser gun laws than New York.

Ya know, this has nothing to do with crime fighting but is instead a rouse to avoid a closer look at some of his cities problems - namely a quickly climbing crime rate as the city stretches its law enforcement resources and neglects to prosecute those quality of life crimes that Rudy Guiliani so successfully went after.

"This is all politically motivated," added Philip Van Cleave, president of the Virginia Citizens Defense League. "He's trying to look like he's doing something, but he's not doing anything but pass the buck."

But Bloomberg yesterday showed no signs of backing down, expressing horror at how some bullets these days are marketed as "vest piercing."

"The last time I saw a deer wearing an armored vest was a long time ago," he said.

OK. I buy a ton of ammo from a variety of manufacturers in different calibers and weights for a host of applications. I would assume I purchase more ammo in a month than this gun banning bigot has purchased in his entire life (for personal use, not for his police force or body guards) and I can't recall EVER seeing ANY ammo markedted as "vest piercing." In fact, the only people I ever hear use that term are those in the gun banning bigot fund raising industry. Assholes.

Like I said, Michael Bloomberg is a Blooming Idiot. If he comes to Virginia, I'll be there armed to the teeth.
