"Run by a gun zealot who's too blinded by the NRA" - Sam Penney of RaisingKaine.com

Uh, no.

THe AP is reporting:

Americans' personal savings rate dipped into negative territory in something that hasn't happened since the Great Depression. Consumers depleted their savings to finance the purchases of cars and other big-ticket items.

Thats not entirely fair, nor true. Some of us have dipped into savings to try and simply pay for the necessities - food, water, electric and natural gas for our homes, and clothes for our kids. I guess you could also add gas for my 10 year old car too.

Of course, the alternative would be for my wife to work as well and allow our kid to be raised by others. It sure would hope us compete with all the assholes who live in our $250k a year per capita income neck of the wood (which might give you an idea about why Washington seems so corrupt to the rest of America).
