Bad News For The Dems

This has to be the worst news in awhile for the Democrats. Just as they were shaping up to allege Bush was a tool of the special interests,failing to prosecute Enron executives, we get the 42 count indictment of Former Enron CEO Jeffrey Skilling. If I was Kenneth Lay I would be seriously worried right now.

Of course, John Kerry has to be shaking too. Not only will both Skilling and Lay's trials become far more active just as election season begins, but both trials will highlight the failures of the previous administration to effectively police corporate America (the scandal wasn't on Bush's watch). Also, Kerry has the small habit of taking cash donations from criminals in exchange for his assistance. (See here, for an example of the donations coming from spies and the enemy)
