New York or D.C. ????

I'm just not sure. As someone who spent their first 18 years growing up in and around New York City and has spent the last 6 (not to mention frequent visits to D.C. during another 4 or 5 years) living and working Inside The Beltway here in DC I am not sure. New York City or the District of Columbia. Which Is Better?

I'll venture to say the New York i grew up with, the Pre Guiliani, Sin City version was much better than drab 'ol D.C. any day. But does the Disney Land like Tourist Friendly New York still stack up? I just don't know. . . .
