Pretty Good For A Ludite

Considering I don't work in the computer/technology field, I've had a pretty good share of the 50 Greatest Gadgets of the Past 50 Years.

Lets see:
1. Sony Walkman TPS-L2 (1979) (Had a walkman, not sure which model)
2. Apple iPod (2001) (Still use the ORIGINAL model 5gb model I purchased in January 2002)
4. PalmPilot 1000 (1996) (Had an early Palm Pilot - not sure which model)
6. Motorola StarTAC (1996)
7. Atari Video Computer System (1977)(who didn't??)
9. M-Systems DiskOnKey (2000)
13. Motorola PageWriter (1996)(yep)
14. BlackBerry 850 Wireless Handheld (1998)(upgraded the Motorola)
16. Texas Instruments Speak & Spell (1978) (well, my brother did)
21. Zenith Space Command (1956) (The infamous "Clicker." We had one in the 70s)
23. Kodak Instamatic 100 (1963)(picked one of these up a couple of years ago)
25. Radio Shack TRS-80 Model 100 (1983) (I didn't own it, but as a lab monitor/computer geek/computer club member/student tutor I had my own dedicated one to use at school)
27. Commodore 64 (1982) (Not just the best selling computer ever, but perhaps the best ever. Had a VIC 20 as well).
28. Apple Newton MessagePad (1994) (Been there, done that. Its a shame it came out as Apple was on its downward spiral cause it did everything a Palm did but with style).
29. Sony Betamax (1975) (well, my father did. I was in 3rd grade. Uncle had one too. I ended up recording all of live aid on another one. Parents still have the tapes somewhere).
32. Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer (1999) (used one for a couple of years)
35. Motorola DynaTAC 8000X (1983) (Moms cell phone when I was growing up, and mine hin High School. Its sitting in my dresser at my parents house).
36. Iomega Zip Drive (1995) (yep)
37. Magnavox Magnavision Model 8000 DiscoVision Videodisc Player (1978)(Again, dad had it. I used it more).
38. Milton Bradley Simon (1978) (Another one of those - Didn't Everyone?)
40. Connectix QuickCam (1994) (It sucked).
47. Timex/Sinclair 1000 (1982) (Again, didn't everyone?)

22 out of 50. Not too shabby.
