Rally In Richmond

Passing this on from the Club for Growth. Unfortunatly I'll be here in DC fighting the good fight.

RPV Rally Opposing a Statewide Tax Increase
and Supporting a Referendum

The Republican Party of Virginia is holding a rally in support of the Allen/Kilgore/Howell/Wilder tax referendum and our opposition to the proposals by the Governor and Senate for a massive statewide tax increase.

 When:   Monday, March 8 - 11:00 a.m.

Where:  The Bell Tower at the State Capitol, Richmond

As the tax debate continues in the General Assembly, it is critical that Republicans send a strong message to elected officials that we are firmly opposed to increasing the tax burden on hardworking Virginians. RPV has been working tirelessly during this Session to make your views known.  Join us as we call on legislators and the Governor to allow the people of Virginia to have input in the debate over the proposals to raise taxes.  The people were denied a voice in the November elections because the Governor refused to release his tax plan.  Now we must make our voices heard.

Help us make a strong statement!  Please plan to come to the rally, and bring friends and family!  We are sorry for the short notice, but things are moving quickly and it is imperative that we make this statement.

For more information, please contact Jeff Britt at RPV, (804)780-0111.
