Here I am watching C-Span and Idiot Queen Sheila Jackson Lee gets up to make her 1 minute floor speech. Incredibly, she says something intelligent in her praise of the Houston Astros.

Essentially, and I am paraphrasing, she stated:

They have shown us that having a strong will, hard work, and putting in the time to train and obtain the skills will lead you to greater opportunities and help you win the fight.

Who would have thought. Now, if only she asked her constituents to display the same tendancies before screaming for more federal handouts.
