Gun Free DC
Wait, I thought guns were illegal in DC.
A 33-year-old Arlington man died early yesterday in the District after he was struck by an errant bullet fired during a dispute over a parking space outside a jazz club on U Street NW, D.C. police said.
The shooting unfolded in front of Duke's City, one of U Street's newer restaurants, almost directly across from Ben's Chili Bowl, a U Street landmark.
Ah, guess that law isn't working too well now, is it (though I have to say, Ben's is one of my favorite places to eat).
What are the chances that the shooter - so far unidentified - was legally allowed to own the gun?
Just wondering - rhetorically, thats all - how many legal gun owners have shot people in the District (or indeed anywhere) in disputes over parking spaces?
