All I Need To Know I Learned In Kindergarten

The Richmond Independent has an important post up about a basic principle learned in kindergaten, Be Nice.

But calling Republicans (and James Webb) silly names makes your candidate look bad to the people who actually matter, the voters. Sure it's unlikely that a swing voter is reading your comment. But it's the attitude that is the problem. If that kind of thinking informs your choices in candidates, you are going to pick losers in Virginia. If you want to express your angst amongst fellow Democrats, fine. But if you are actually promoting a candidate, use some common sense and have some respect.

He is directing his comments to Democrats, but I think its a lesson (and a post) that everyone should read.
